YOSHI says : The story of "The Prince of Egypt" originates
from the Bible story of the prophet Moses (Exodus). In the animated version of Moses
life, There are many upbeat songs to accompany the animations which helped to understand the mood of the scene; for example the song "Deliver
Us" is
explaining how the slaves of the Pharaoh are in hope to be
led to the promised lands however the song "The Plagues" is explaining how Moses
has had to betray his brother for the greater good of his people. I very much
enjoyed this film as it was the Bible in animation which I think a lot of
younger children and adolescents will find more welcoming than having to read it.
One of my favourite parts of the movie was probably the chariot race. (Right hand pic top row.) The excitement and tension of it really made it feel as thought it was happening at that exact moment! Sometimes I wish that they had camera's back in the days of Jesus because many people assume that every man had a beard. Once in a while I'd like to see a man without a beard and moustache.
From what you've already seen don't you think that you should watch this incredible film???
