Well It's here! The latest Harry Potter episode.
Featuring (L to R): New girl Evanna Lynch as Luna Lovegood, Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, and Katy Leung as Cho.
THE PLOT:
After returning to Hogwarts to begin his fifth year, Harry Potter discovers that much of the wizarding world, including the Ministry of Magic, is in denial about Lord Voldemort's return. The Order of the Phoenix, a group sworn against Voldemort, is using its vast array of wizards and witches magical abilities to combat Voldemort. Cornelius Fudge, Minister for Magic, suspects that Dumbledore is using these claims of The Dark Lord's return as a means to over-throw Fudge as Minister. In retaliation, a new Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher is appointed by the Ministry in order to keep an eye on Hogwarts. This new teacher, Professor Umbridge, implies strict new teachings and rules, forcing a group of students, under the tutelage of Harry, to form a club, by the name of Dumbledore's Army...

RIK - A much
better film than Goblet of Fire I thought.
Possibly because it's also a better book. I think director
David Yates has done a better job
than some of his predecessors (Not All of them.) For example, I like
Mike Newel films as a rule but on
Goblet I felt he had been an adult among the kids rather than one of the kids
himself which I feel is the way to succeed directing Harry Potter.
Here there is a no holds barred adaptation of a great book and Yates and his cast bring a sense of lively fun which, as in all our lives, often stalls with no warning as event's change on us. For the first time since the Prisoner of Askaban the pain of growing up, the horror of Voldemort and the joy of knowing your true friends is totally believable.
Harry and Sirrius Black (Garry Oldman) ./ Ron (Rupert Grint) Luna, Neville (Matthew Lewis), Hermione, Harry and Ginny (Bonnie Wright) face the death eaters. / The Weaslys: Fred (James Phelps) Ginny, George (Oliver Phelps) and Ron.
YOSHI -
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a very good adaptation of the book
compared to most of the previous films. My first idea, going to see it, was
Oh great lets sit here for 3 hours whilst they ruin my image of the book!
However I was very wrong about this. I found that it was a great movie (even
though the ministry of magic was wrong for me!). The prophecy room was not as
I'd imagined it either. I imagined a cinema like place with crystal balls on the
seats and the movie didn't even include the doors that they marked until they
found the right one!
RIK - Yoshi!
It's a film!
YOSHI -
I know, I know, but I wanted to see that bit. Anyway, some of the good things
about this movie were the new cast. Evana Lynch as Luna Lovegood is incredible
and very good at being a bit weird.
RIK - Don't
be mean.
YOSHI -
I wasn't. Weird is cool!
RIK -
Grins - You should know.
YOSHI -
Look who's taking! The room of requirement was very good. I loved the way there
were upside-down pillars and the way the spells were shown like the patronus was
amazing.
RIK - But if
you are going to have a good book or movie you've got to have a good baddie and
Phoenix has two! Both Dolores Umbridge and Voldemort brilliantly played by
Ralph Fiennes .
TINTIN -
He's scary.
RIK - Yep. I
loved Phoenix. Go see.
YOSHI -
Definitely! Hurry up then!
