BAND NAMES

THREL says : Since the dawn of time, there have been bands. Only about a third of all the bands are real. Some are hoaxes, some are failed suggestions for band names, and some are actual bands. Inspired by the task of being asked for a list of obscure band names, and deciding to create a list of band names that don't actually exist instead, myself, Rik and others have set out to create as many band names as we can extract from the world and everyday conversation.

These are the results. Some are original, some are downright crazy and some are stolen from Tolkien. See if you can tell which is which.
